2024年度の研究活動が学長賞を受賞。前回は、JICA時代にタンザニアのイネ黄斑病アウトブレイクを調査し三重大学で学んだ計量経済学で解析した成果が。今回は、飼料イネ根系に備わる地力増進能力と、消費者の有機米に対する食味評価が栽培情報で変化する、という2つの研究成果が。グローカルと文理融合。三重大学着任以来、一貫して目指してきた目標に少しずつ。この目標を信じ、ガムシャラに着いて来てくれた学生がいたからこそ。2025年度はさらなる飛躍を。

President’s Award

My research activities in 2024 received the President’s Award. Previously, I was recognized for investigating a rice yellow mottle disease outbreak in Tanzania during my JICA period and analyzing the findings using econometrics learned at Mie University. This time, two research achievements were evaluated: the soil fertility enhancement capacity inherent in forage rice root systems, and how consumer taste evaluation of organic rice changes with cultivation information. Glocal and interdisciplinary integration—gradually approaching the goals I have consistently pursued since joining Mie University. This was made possible by the students who believed in these goals and followed with determination. Aiming for further advancement in 2025.
