昨年度までの水田土壌からDNAを抽出・増幅。
久しぶりの作業だったが後輩と協力して何とか完了。院試勉強に追われながらも今回で二回目の作付けを無事完了したようで安心。訓練中福島の山で生活していたせいか、大学の最寄り駅から歩くだけで暑さで疲弊した。最近までこのような暑さの中で作業をしていたことに驚いた。

Extracted and amplified DNA from paddy soil samples from last year.
It had been a while since I did this work, but I managed to complete it with help from a junior student. I was relieved that they were able to successfully complete their second planting while being busy with graduate school entrance exam studies.
Perhaps because I had been living in the mountains of Fukushima during the JICA training, I became exhausted from the heat just walking from the nearest station to the university. I was surprised that I had been working in such heat until recently.
