今年も田植えの季節。田起こし→代かき→苗作り→田植え。この季節を迎えるために必須の作業工程。単純に見えるが、各工程に要求される技術は複雑で、その作業量は膨大。担当学生はその工程をよく理解し、研究室メンバーを上手く統率して、この数か月を乗り切ってきた。この間、私は黒子に徹し、人員確保と物資調達に専念。人も稲も大きく育つ。

Growing Together

It’s rice planting season again. Plowing → Puddling → Seedling nursery → Transplanting. These are the essential work processes to prepare for this season. Though they appear simple, the techniques required for each process are complex, and the workload is enormous. The student in charge understood these processes well and skillfully coordinated the laboratory members to get through these past few months. During this time, I remained behind the scenes, focusing on securing personnel and procuring supplies. As the rice grows in the fields, the students flourish through their experiences.
