飛騨市で開催された日本作物学会東海談話会に参加。学内水田で実験してきた水稲根系の窒素吸収に関する研究成果と、つじ農園で調査してきた土壌微生物活性に関する研究成果を学生が発表。前日入りして岐阜大の皆さんと交流できたのは学生にとって大きな収穫。エクスカーションは何と飛騨市長による市内観光ツアー。充実した1日。

“Dense”

Participated in the Tokai Regional Meeting of the Japanese Society of Crop Science held in Hida City. Students presented research findings on nitrogen absorption by rice root systems from experiments conducted in the university paddy fields, and on soil microbial activity from surveys at Tsuji Farm. Arriving a day early and interacting with students from Gifu University was a significant gain for the students. The excursion was, surprisingly, a city tour led by the mayor of Hida City. It was a fulfilling day.
