Today we had our first joint class with other classes. It was a style where we constantly talked by asking each other questions from a question list. I was nervous at first because we were talking with volunteers from a high-level class that included former English teachers and others. Since there were volunteers I was meeting for the first time, we sometimes started by introducing ourselves in English. A volunteer whose job specialty is agricultural product processing suggested I participate in a coffee voluntary lecture, and I ended up getting involved in the planning. At the training center, once you get to know one person, your network expands from there and you can talk with many volunteers. When conversations get lively, perhaps because of the desire to talk, it feels easier to speak in English too.
