つじ農園でのオンライン社会調査演習が、前期の最終日を迎えました。前期には、①つじ農園が立地する睦合町のセンサス分析、②辻さんへの聞き取り調査、③生産技術班、既存顧客班、新規顧客班の形成、④各班で既往研究の調査、⑤調査課題の設定、までたどり着くことができました。水稲のNDVI画像を利用した空間計量経済学や消費調査でのランダム化比較試験や選択実験など、かなり挑戦的な手法を利用するため、不安と同時にワクワク感を感じています。

The virtual Social Science Study course at Tsuji Farm has come to an end of the first semester. In this semester, 1) the population census in Mutsu-ai town where Tsuji Farm is located was analyzed, 2 ) Mr. Tsuji was interviewed, 3) students were divided into three category groups; agronomic management techniques, regular customers, and potential customers, 4) previous studies were reviewed in each category, and 5) study themes were developed based on the literature survey. The studies involve challenging methods such as the application of spatial econometrics to NDVI of rice plants and the consumer survey using randomized control trials and discrete choice experiments, making me nervous but exited.
