Rice plants are expected to mature in approximately 20 days from now at the farmer-field in the Lower Moshi Irrigation Scheme (LMIS). Mr. Peter Alfred of the Kilimanjaro Agricultural Training Centre (KATC) sent us some photos showing rice plants at the ripening stage.
