Measurement of yield and yield components started at our experimental field in the Lower Moshi Irrigation Scheme (LMIS) in Tanzania recently. Mr. Peter Alfred of the Kilimanjaro Agricultural Training Centre (KATC) sent me some photos showing their field work. According to Mr. Oizumi of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), plants looked in good condition and were expected to produce a good yield. I look forward to having results of the measurement.
